Developer buys Ewa Hotel to create new hotel brand

Local real estate developer Peter Savio has purchased the Ewa Hotel on Cartwright street on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki for an undisclosed price.  It is understood that his plan is to turn the 97 unit hotel into an economy hotel and part student dormitory.
