The latest on Hokua condo sales – Honolulu’s luxury condominium

The Hokua condos at 1288 Ala Moana Blvd is still one of the most luxurious condomiums in Honolulu. The position alone sets it apart, but also the generously sized condo units. With new Kakaako condos and Ala Moana condos under construction several of which are also have larger units. The Waiea, Anaha and Gateway are 3 examples of newer buildings that offer larger condo units.

Recently a penthouse unit in the Hokua sold. This unit Penthouse 38L has 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half bath with 2222 square feet. This is essentially a combined F and G units from lower floors. This is a wrap around on the Diamond Head side of the building. The stunning views look out over the ocean and Magic Island. With some upgrades to the units has made it look lovely. This unit sold for $4.8million. This equates to $2160 per square feet. This is one of the highest sales prices per square foot that we have seen at the Hokua. It is no wonder with it being a luxury Honolulu penthouse condo.

Latest Hokua condo sales overview

Hokua Units 5F, 32C and 28B  sold within the last 3 months. With sales prices of $2.1 mil, $2.28mil and $2.2 million respectively. All of these units are spacious 2 bedrooms condo units. The average per square foot sales price is $1341 per square foot. In first quarter of 2015 the average sales price per square foot was $1251. The difference between last quarter and this one shows a rise in 7.2% increase in sales price per square foot year over year.

Best priced Hokua condo

If you are considering purchasing a Hokua condo, for the best price. Currently the best priced unit per square foot is unit 14F. Listed at $2.38 million, this is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit and has 1532 square feet of interior. The unit faces Magic Island and has stunning ocean views. It has been upgraded with engineered hardwood floors and a glass shower divided.
