According the U.S. Bureau of Labor the unemployment rate dropped from 6% in January to 5.6% in February. That is only slightly worse than the February 2009 number of 5.3%. The statistics also showed there were 25,100 people our of work in Hawaii in the month of February. This is far below the national average of 10.4%.
